The sagging of the neck is one of the most common signs of aging, and usually occurs when we reach our 50s. This effect is also referred to as jowling, or more popularly, ‘turkey neck.’ The muscles in this area, known as the platysma muscles, tend to droop and sag forward as gravity takes its toll and the neck begins to form somewhat of a double chin.
